The Knowledge Management Hub Steering Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean (SDG Gateway), which aims to coordinate the efforts made by all United Nations entities at the regional level to keep the SDG Gateway up to date on SDG implementation and measurement in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The Partnerships and Communication Group, which main objective is to lead the regional efforts in creating and reinforcing partnerships for the achievement of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs, and it also seeks to strengthen inter-agency cooperation in partnerships and communications at the regional level.
The Peer Support Group (PSG), whose function is to focus on quality assurance support to United Nations country teams by ensuring that the Common Country Analysis and the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Frameworks meet the criteria set out in the Cooperation Frameworks guidance. While retaining its dedicated function, the PSG is part of the overall RCP LAC architecture with a dotted reporting line directly to the Chair of the RCP LAC.
The Regional Operations Management Team (ROMT), established to act as technical advisory group to support regional level business operation strategies, and to provide support to United Nations Country Teams and national Operations Management Teams.
The SDG Data and Statistics Group, which main objective is to develop and strengthen statistical capacities and data on the SDGs and contribute to the process of monitoring the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at the regional level. It operates within the framework of the Statistical Conference of the Americas of ECLAC and in close alignment with the Committee for the Coordination of Statistical Activities.
